Together We Stand, Divided We Fall

Meet Josef Pentz
Josef Pentz is a proud U.S. Army veteran, dedicated husband and father to 2 children(soon to be 3!), and passionate community advocate running for the Toms River Board of Education. With six years of honorable military service, a certificate in professional development from Rutgers University, and over 15 years of experience in high-pressure corporate environments, Josef brings a unique blend of leadership, accountability, and adaptability to every challenge he faces.
As both a parent and a professional, Josef knows firsthand how important it is for schools to educate, listen, evolve, and support the whole child. He believes that open communication between families, educators, and school leaders is the foundation of a successful district.
That’s why he’s a strong proponent of transparency and two-way dialogue across the entire community—when we talk, we grow. Josef is running to ensure that every student has access to opportunity, every teacher is respected and supported, and every family feels heard. His mission is simple: to help build a stronger, smarter, and more united future for the children of Toms River.
Endorse budgeting plans
that prioritize student development above all else.
Establish practices
that nurture academic achievement and support student well-being for our child and for future generations.
Create inclusive environments
that focus on the individual needs of learners to ensure every child can access mainstream education or alternative educational provisions.
